But a new Freedom of Information request has revealed it offers staff just two days extra paternity leave, leaving the possibility of staff receiving as little as seven days in total.
That’s despite praising businesses who have extended paternity rights beyond two weeks.
Labour will create a new Department for Equalities, double paid paternity leave to four weeks and increase paternity pay.
